Switcher appearance does not match the theme

If the Switcher's font, background, colors, or other styling does not match your theme, review the available appearance and customization settings in Transtore. If the option you need is unavailable, you can contact our support team or apply your own CSS.

1. Check the available appearance settings

  1. Open the Transtore app and go to Switcher.
  2. Under Appearance, review the available settings:
    • Switcher style - Choose between an integrated Switcher and individual Switchers.
    • Templates - Choose Essential, Prestige, or Devotion.
  3. Use the Preview panel to compare the available designs.

2. Customize the Switcher for each device

  1. Under Customization, select Desktop or Mobile.
  2. Open Switcher customization.
  3. Under Switcher color, adjust:
    • Background color - Change the background color and opacity.
    • Text color - Change the color and opacity of the Switcher's text and icons.
  4. Use the Preview panel and your storefront to check the result.
  5. Repeat these steps for the other device if needed.

For complete instructions, see Customize flags, icons, text, and display options in the Switcher.

3. Request help with additional styling

If the app does not include the styling option you need, such as a specific font, background, size, or spacing, contact us at [email protected]. Our support team can review your request and help customize the Switcher to match your theme.

Please include:

  • Your storefront URL
  • The changes you want to make
  • A screenshot or example of your preferred appearance
  • Whether the changes should apply to desktop, mobile, or both

4. Apply custom CSS

If you are comfortable editing CSS, you can add custom styles directly to your Shopify theme.

Use your browser's Inspect tool to identify the Switcher elements you want to customize, then add CSS rules that target those elements.

Theme code knowledge required

CSS selectors may vary depending on the selected Switcher style, template, and position. Target only the intended Switcher elements to avoid changing other parts of your storefront.

If you are unfamiliar with CSS or Shopify theme editing, contact our support team before making changes.

After adding the CSS, check the Switcher on desktop and mobile, including the menu displayed when customers open it.

If you need help identifying the correct elements or applying custom styles, please contact us at [email protected]. We’re happy to help.
