Currency conversion is delayed

You may briefly see a price in your store’s default currency before it changes to the selected Currency, especially when switching between product variants.

This can happen because Shopify displays the original price first, and Transtore then applies currency conversion.

1. Check whether the price updates after loading

1. Open a product page on your storefront.
2. Select a different Currency in the Transtore Switcher.
3. Wait for the price to update.
4. Select another product variant and check its price.

If the price changes to the selected Currency after a short pause, conversion is working but takes time to appear.

If the price never changes, follow Currency conversion is not working.

2. Compare the behavior in another browser

Open the same product in a private or incognito browser window, then select the same Currency and product variant.

You can also compare the result using another device or network connection. Note whether the delay occurs in every test or only in a particular browser, device, or network.

These checks help our support team identify where the delay occurs.

3. Check for other active currency converters

If another app also converts prices on your storefront, temporarily turn off its currency conversion and test again with Transtore.

Check both the initial page load and what happens when you select a different product variant.

If the delay improves, let our support team know which other app was active so we can investigate the interaction.
