Can I Add More Than 20 Languages?
Transtore currently supports up to 20 languages per Shopify store. We’ll consider expanding this limit in future updates.
Can I export my translations from Transtore?
Transtore does not provide a separate translation export tool. However, manual translations created in Transtore are saved to Shopify through Shopify’s Translation API and can be exported from your Shopify admin as a CSV file.
Can I keep my existing translations when switching to Transtore?
Yes - you can keep translations created with Shopify Translate & Adapt or another app that saves translations to Shopify.
Can I use Transtore with Shopify Translate & Adapt?
Yes. You can use Transtore and Shopify Translate & Adapt on the same store.
Can Transtore translate content in iFrames, such as Loox?
No. Transtore cannot translate content displayed inside an iframe.
Where can I find and edit Theme Editor content in Transtore?
Yes. Transtore lets you translate and edit content created through the Shopify Theme Editor, including Rich text and other theme sections or blocks, such as headings, text, and button labels.
Can Transtore translate third-party app content?
Yes. Transtore's Auto translation can translate content from many third-party apps that appears on your storefront.
Do I need to manually translate new products?
No. Auto translation is enabled automatically when you publish a target language in Transtore. When customers view your storefront in that language, Transtore automatically translates the content of newly added products.
Does Transtore support checkout content?
Transtore allows you to view and edit Checkout page content that Shopify makes available for translation. However, due to Shopify’s platform limitations, Transtore’s Auto translation cannot run on the Checkout page.
Does Transtore support hreflang tags?
Hreflang tags are code elements that help search engines understand which language and region each version of your store is intended for. They also help search engines display the appropriate localized URL based on a visitor’s language and location.
Does Transtore support RTL languages?
Yes. Transtore supports translating your store content into right-to-left (RTL) languages, such as Arabic and Hebrew.
How can I bulk translate all my products?
Transtore lets you use AI to create manual translations for up to 25 products at a time in one target language.
How Can I Change a Language’s Flag?
You can change the flag displayed for a language in the Transtore Switcher without changing the language itself.
Why do I see “No translations” in Shopify’s language settings?
“No translations” simply means you have not created any manual translations in Transtore yet.
Why does auto translation take time?
A brief delay may occur when Transtore applies Auto translation to your storefront. This behavior is common in apps that use Auto translation technology.
