Improve translations with AI

Transtore provides two AI options to help you create and improve manual translations:

  • OpenAI GPT
  • DeepSeek

Transtore works with Shopify's native Translation API. Translations generated with this feature are saved to Shopify as manual translations and displayed on your storefront.

Improve translations with OpenAI GPT or DeepSeek

Step 1: Open a translation resource​

  1. Open the Transtore app in your Shopify admin.
  2. Go to Language.
  3. Find the target language you want to update and click Manage language.
  4. Under Translations, open the resource containing the content you want to translate, such as Product, Collection, Online store, Theme, or Notifications.

Step 2: Improve translations with AI​

  1. Select the products you want to translate or open an individual resource.
  2. Click Improve translation with AI.
  3. Select OpenAI GPT or DeepSeek.
  4. Review the generated translations.
  5. Save your changes.
Bulk translation limit

Bulk translation is available for Product only. You can select and translate a maximum of 25 products per batch.

To translate more products, complete the current batch, then repeat the process with the next group of up to 25 products. Other resources must be opened and translated individually.

The generated content is saved to Shopify as a manual translation and displayed when customers browse your storefront in the selected target language.
