Does Transtore support local currencies on the Checkout page?
Transtore converts and displays prices in different currencies on your storefront, from the Home page through the Cart page.
However, due to Shopify's platform restrictions for third-party apps, Transtore cannot access, control, or convert the currency displayed on the Checkout page.
The currency displayed at checkout is determined by Shopify Markets, the customer's market and shipping address, and your payment setup. Transtore does not override these settings.
Using Shopify Payments
Transtore supports merchants using Shopify Payments for local currencies at checkout.
When Shopify Payments is available and configured correctly, customers can browse your storefront and complete checkout in the currency assigned to their Shopify Market.
See Shopify's documentation for more information:
If the storefront displays the correct currency but it changes at checkout, review your Shopify Markets and Shopify Payments settings or contact Shopify Support.
If Shopify Payments is unavailable
If Shopify Payments is not available in your country, you will need to choose a third-party payment provider supported by Shopify.
You can review the available providers here: Shopify payment gateways by country or region
The currencies available at checkout depend on the selected payment provider. Contact the provider directly to confirm whether it supports the currencies and international payments required by your store.
For example, merchants in India can review Razorpay's documentation and contact its support team for more information: Razorpay supported currencies for international payments
Transtore can continue converting prices on your storefront, but the currency used for payment on the Checkout page is managed by Shopify and your payment provider.
