What Metafields and Metaobjects Can Transtore Translate?

Shopify metafields and metaobjects let you add custom content to your store-such as extra product details, specifications, or structured information. Transtore helps translate this content so your storefront stays consistent across all languages.

Supported Types​

To ensure a smooth editing experience, Transtore currently supports manual translation in-app for the following types only.

You can find these in Language → Manage language → Products → Metafields.

Supported Metafield types:

  • string
  • single_line_text_field
  • multi_line_text_field
  • list.single_line_text_field

Supported Metaobject type:

  • list.metaobject_reference

Note​

Metafields or metaobjects that are not listed above can still be translated and shown on the storefront. However, their translations cannot be edited manually inside the Transtore app at this time.
